Went Well really. Had a goot time Saturday night with a Racer Friend and his crew.
Raced in the Open Solos and 600 class.
Qualified in 14th in the solos which was pretty good considering the competition!! R1 and GSXR 1000 etc etc.
Finished 11th in the 600's cos my head wasn't with the bike.
I was pooing my pants all day though cos my Tyres are fcukd!! I have had them on since last June and they are really bad (onlky suposed to do about 4 meetings Max!!). I had no confidence and nearly lost it a few times going round gerrards and out of the new edwina's or whatever you call it.
Plus my standard suspension is SH*T. Set on full hardness at the front the fairing still hits the floor when I am banked over and giving it some and it feels like i'm riding a rocking horse!!
My tyres finally gave way on the last lap of the last race and pretty much the last corner! The back end spun out at about 3,000 revs going round the hairpin at tickover! I couldn't believe it! I fell off at about 2 mph and the bike spun round on its bobbin, didn't even mark the bike!
I just pulled the clutch in got back on and finished the race!
I cant ride on those tyres again!! Gonna get some MEZ RS1 for snetterton and Kick ass!! Bring it on!! :twisted:
