ive been on the back of my dads tl1000s and it kicks the hell out of speed(180mph) but he wants to get an sp-1 do you think he should stick with the tl or go with the sp-1

I followed a VTR 1000 to work today! sounded sweet!

i am sure he could have blown me away on the dual carridge way. then again he was probably cruising and i was at 11,000 revs!!

LMFAO im always up in the high revs! ive already blown me engine once! but got plenty more pistons and barrels! left lol! as i said in a previous post im addicted to the SPEED of a 125 LMFAO

I wouldn't recommend the SP2 for everyday riding, it's really hard work around town, and is lumpier than a bag of spanners. Not sure if a Powercommander might sort that out a little.

I was glad to get back on my SV after half an hour on the SP, they are just not that good. If I wanted a machine that focused I think I would save my cash and just buy a descent suspension setup.

i know this is an old post but i hope he held on to the tl cause he wouldnt have been happy with the top end speed of the sp1 if his tl was doing 180 2up :lol:
