2005 R1 V 2007 R1

I have a 2005 R1 which after the recal modifications drive like a reborn machine. I have been reading alot of reviews for the 2007 machine, l am not convinced there is much diff between then to inspire me to want to upgrade in a hurry. Has anyone riden the 2007 bike yet? Any opinions on the comparison between the old and the new?

I have a mate who has rode the 2007 bike and said theres not a lot between them on the road.

I had a 2005 model which I hated and got rid of in a few months of buying new, so maybe I'm not the right person to ask though :shooter

I know what you mean matey, it was abit gutless in the mid range but after the recall where parts of the carbs and engine was replaced, it came alive and rode like it was on steriods. Though it was not quite GSX 1000R rapid in the midrange but a more refreshing bike after that. You should have hang on to it.
