OK, its not quite bodywork, more on the frame and swingarm side of things.
Might be interested in getting them powdercoated. Anyone recommend a cheap local decent place?
Much appreciated
Paul
Hiya Paul,
I'm currently having my Frame, Swing arm, rear subframe and a pair of wheels done for a very reasonable sum. The only dowside is the guyhas had them since before christmas. So if your in a hurry it might be an idea to look elsewhere. Should have mine back this week.

Trouty has a contact with a powder coaters but they are in Lincolnshire, they are his race team mates from last year.
I can't vouch their work, but Trouty must have seen it.

So what do you guys think?
I like it and It does make it look a little more upto date with the black frame etc. :jumping2
You do realise how much work is involved don't you?
Stripping everything from the frame and swingarm including all the bearings. You have to remove the bearings otherwise when they apply the heat to cure the resin all the grease runs and makes a right mess.:o
And let's hope you don't break anything rusty bolts, fragile plastics etc while stripping the bike.
(I know i've just done it) ;)
Cheers
Dal
I'd also do the forks black and get rid of the pillion pegs :grin2

Yer i know its going to be alot of work. The engine is already out of the bike. Not sure if im going to do it yet.
I think it'll look pretty cool. But its the effort, time and cost.
