F*#king Diesel!!

Just got home, crashed my gixxer in witham on way home :(

Low speed crash, bit sore, hurt my right foot but ok!

I hit a bit of diesel when pulling away at lights, bike went one way, then the other, folowed by me hitting the deck, foot trapped between bike and road. Slid for a bit, then got up and yelled '********, my bike'

Well, will take pics tmw when i get a chance, jsut gotta fix it now :(

Wish I had crash bungs on it :( my faring is ruined. Anyone know when I can get a replacement faring for a gsx-r600 srad 98??

yea ebay usually has some on, but they go quick and for alot usually. sometimes get the occasional bargain (hey its ebay afterall)

any other damage? i got bits everywhere in my garage for zactly same bike just yellow n black ;)

im thinking of taking a leaf out of some fellas book i was reading about in a mag a while back

every new bike he gets he gets a cheap set of raod fairings and an old tank, puts the good bodywork in the loft to keep it nice and then when it comes time to sell, you got imacuate fairings etc...genius!!!!

also saves the greif of swaping it all over when you want to do track days and what not!!

i saw that and read with interest as it was a GSXR1000 (K5 I think) in performance bikes....
ahhhh a hand painted stealth black fairing.....now we're talking :clap

I've just received a top fairing for my 92 CBR from these guys and it brilliant quality delivery was really quick to. Actually going to order 2 new side fairings now so i get the whole lot sprayed together so it all looks new.
Give them a look as i thought the price was good as well.
