The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having
to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to
use it. The tracking device will cost about ?200 and in a recent study by
the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was ?28 for a rural florist and ?194 for
a delivery driver. A non working mother who used the car to take the kids
to school paid ?86 in one month.
On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will
know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have
been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit in time
you can probably expect a Notice of Intended Prosecution with your monthly
bill.
kindly "donated" from another site!!

Makes you proud to be British when you live in such a restrictive society like ours doesnt it eh :( :(
Its getting to the stage where i feel embarassed of it all :(

Grr, what does this mean for my daily commute? Considering our train service recently admitted that fares would be put up to put people off using the train, where does that leave me? Bugger walking 80 miles a day. :shooter

gets on my bloody tits all this rubbish the government keep coming up with.
if they were a little more concious about what was going on in the country earlier we wouldnt have to deal with all this!!! it seems to me its a desperate attempt to claw back money or whatever that theyve "lost"
i think if they cut down on the private travel and 4 homes dotted around the globe and 7 holidays a year etc they may have a little more to play with!
although i think its because 4 homes and 7 holidays isnt enough so they gotta fund a couple of appartments and a few "rest periods" somehow!

Makes you laugh. If enough people tell them to stick the tracker and PAYG Tax system up their arse, what they gonna do ?
a) They could lock us all up ..... hey ...not enough prison places !!
b) Use a special government agency to track us down and beat the money out of us ...... hang on .....look what happens when the home office try and find escaped prisoners, the CSA try and get our money and the DVLA update our licences only to loose your bike category !!!
What will loads of road users do ?
a) Buy a banger for £50 and just not bother with reg docs, tax, mot, insurance ......
b) End up on the dole because they can't afford to work and have luxeries anymore.
c) Emigrate to Poland or somewhere where theres plenty of accomodation.
d) Further clog up the already over stretched public transport system.
Twats ...... I'd like to see them try and wire a tracker on my bike.
I can't even get one to fit it for security tracking......they are all far too big.
