what is it with the legalitys of these, spose its the same as having a tinted front screen on a car yeh?
do they give out fines for them, or just take it off and ride on?
I always thought these were ok providing you are riding in daylight.
If I was unsure what time I was going to be home I used to carry a clear visor just in case.

nope dark visors past a certain tint are technically illegall. apparently because they cant see your face believe it or not! not that you can with a helmet on anyway.
mines practically black anyway though!

as far as i knew the only legal tinted visors for road use are those that have the E number on them, i know the Iridium one i got with my Suomy lid has that on it and is marked as a road legal tint.
however i think these days if you carry a clear visor with you (not practical for everyone i know) then as long as you change it over if you get pulled most Police Officers would likely just give you the gypsies warning about the dangers of tinted visors and send you on your way :)

you could but i wouldnt advise it! reckon a bit of gravel might hurt if it went in your eye at any speed! not to mention blind you!

I had a look on there, nothing that I wanted and not great prices.
That helmet is £170 in the shops, on racevisors.co.uk its £149 with free delivery and free visor of your choice, spanking deal!
Oh well I thought they were cheap for Shoei visors...............
