See if it will jump start off of a car with jump leads. Just sounds like a dead battery to me.

Have not got a car. Completly screwd at the moment. Just spent 30 minutes in the rain trying to get started and nothing from trying to bump it.

Definitely sounds like a knackered battery to me, the clicking will be the start relay opening trying to crank it over, however if the battery is flat it will just have enough voltage to open the relay and nothing more, also if its that flat its likely there wouldnt be enough voltage even for a bump start either unless you were getting a really good push and tried kicking it over in 2nd gear :)

If you trying to do it on your own stand with the bike with your legs either side of it, run with the bike in neutral, jump on the seat and kick it into first and then keep running until it pulls away.
If you go to fast the bike may skid when you kick it into first so go careful.
It's bloody knackering!

Well i am sorry to say that i have tried everythig. And you gessed it. IT STILL DONT BLOOMING WORK!!!!!!! Well on Saturday I checked everything over. Can only find one fuse. This looks a little ropey but still OK. Charged battery reconnected and tried to get to work. There is a relay that was just clicking and flatterned the battery in 30 seconds flat. Think i might just :shooter the bike but can not afford to get another one. I have also tried everyway possible to jump start it but will not have it. Yes fuel was on before anyone asks.
Anyone got any further ideas????????????????????????????

dead starter relay, if the batt is ok and you get a cllicking sound the relay is a dud, if you know anyone who knows how to bridge it to make sure then that will help.

If I knew someone who is mechanicly minded on bikes I would have chainded them down until this was running. Popped round to the guy who servces the bike said to bring it down. Tried to explain what the problem was and just said leave it with him. All I have to do now is get it from Dagenham to Tottenham Court Road now.
This will be fun.

?????? Firstly a moped must be under 50cc, so I don't think its a moped, maybe you meant Scooter??
But as Sniffer Dagenham says its a Yamaha not an Aprilia.
