Im toying with the idea of fitting a braided brakeline kit to the gixxer to improve it a touch, reckon it's worth it? if so who makes the best ones?
not planning on changing the discs/pads so is it worth it on it's own?

& while im on the subject of asking questions, i need to get a decent tool kit inc torque wrench for bike maintenance etc, can anyone recommend any, pref cheap as well, not going to be doing a massive amount of work with it just the odd chain adjusting & removing wheels etc. normal stuff.

I've always put HEL lines on my bikes and have always been impressed.

I do believe that they are slightly cheaper than Goodridge as well.

Go to Halfords and take a look at their professional kit, good quality.

I put braided hoses on my Gsxr600, made quite a bit of difference, think i used Goodridge ?
I got my Torque wrench from Halfords, cost about £20.00.

Braided hoses improve feel

Theres no bulging rubber it goes straight to the caliper.

A must i'd say

Get some decent pads to

Wot he said. Braided lines (make sure you go for double lines up front, not one long line and a link between calipers), plus HH sintered pads will make a HUGE imrovement to your braking potential!
