Moving Avatars.

I've noticed a few of your avatars moving. Mine is a Gif file and is supposed to move but doesn't. I've tried linking the URL from another website but that doesn't seem to work either. I just get shown the message "Invalid URL". Doe sanyone know a solution for this problem? I know it's only a minor thing but I don't like to be beaten. I wil find a solution for this problem one way or another!

The reason it doesnt move is because to fit as an avatar the image needs to be smaller, if the gif file was made at the same resolution as was required to fit as an avatar it would move fine, as soon as you try to shrink the moving the image to fit it changes the properties of the file ;)

Ok thanks. So I take it there is no way of changing the size of it without messing up the properties and stopping it from moving?

From what i gather once you create a moving image in a gif format, it will only work at that size, if the file is changed then the animation stops working, i did have a quick look round to see if there was anyway it could be done but it all points to the same thing unfortunately. :)

Aahh well, I guess there is no solution to be found after all and I have been beaten :(. Thanks anyway for your time and help.
