just to let you lot know im a car paint sprayer by trade if any of you lot need race fairings doin or whatever or if you smash ya cars up i can panel beat too. will sort a decent price

lol err a pound. i charge 300 for full re-spray in solid black, includes everything

Well as your offerin ya services, i need me car fixed as i'm gettin ready to sell it.... 99 vectra with a nice dent in it. Could do with a quote, cheers...

Can you roll the front arches on a mk4 Golf so with 19" Alloys and 65mm drop you can go over speed bumps!!

The rear ones are fine but the fronts have lips on them and with 235 width tyres it gets difficult to turn and hit bumps at the same time. Just worried about giving it to some people at the local body shops as they didn't seem like they would know what to do. And I am guessing it would need a respray too. Just a shame I live out of the way.

I built a mini, that had the same problem, so I trimmed the edge of the arches, fitted some tasteful arches and had the whole lot sprayed, gorgeous. There is no way someone could work your original panels and not ruin the paint.

baseball type bat , jack car up and put bat between the inner lip and the tyre roll the bat around the lip using the tyre as a guide then let the jack down a bit and repeat till you have clearance if you are carefull enough it shouldnt crack the paint on the outter panel :grin2

WHen you say fitted some tasefull arches you didn't just stick some PVC trim over the edge did you? LOL

I was gonna get my arches done.
