Well, for those of you that don't know, I crashed my gixxer a few weeks ago. Now it was a slow speed crash, 15mph at most, hit a diesel spill and lost the back end. Now I didn't have crash bungs fitted so the right fairing took a beating and lost an indicater too.

However, it now fails to start, it turns over but won't kick in. Any ideas as to why this it?

There is no visible damage to the engine and it all sounds ok, the other thing I noticed is that it feels slightly hard to push. :S bit confused and in need of help, before i find a garage to look at it.

Many Thanks,

Being hard to push sounds a bit iffy for starters :reading

Even if it was at 15mph, you could easily have twisted the forks, damaged the brake calipers and/or master cyclinder if you came down on that side. You could have also put the rear wheel out of alignment.

As for the starting, you could have got some oil into the top end of the engine. If you drop a bike in any way, you should always leave it for at least half an hour before starting it to let the oil settle down. If you started it before hand, you may well have clogged something up somewhere. Take the air filter off and check to see if any oil came up into it. Also take the plugs out and see what they look like.
