No not a question you ask a girl on the first night (wait at least till the second ;) :D ).

But more on a question of eating habits :D

Anyway there i was sat in the office today quietly minding my own business whilst having to listen to one of the guys eating an apple in what can only be described as the "can i make this sound like i am dragging my feet up a gravel path" technique :D

When i watched him eat it in about 5 bites? not just the "appley" bits (yes i know its not a word!) but everything, the outside, the inside (the bit the worms like to hide in) and the pips!!!!!! :D

Is it just me that was taught never to eat the pips for fear of having an apple tree grow inside me? :D

Or am i the weirdo that doesnt eat an apple core? :D

i don't do cores or pips either. except i heard the pips got stuck in your appendix and caused appendicitis.....:rolleyes: :laugh1

The pips taste lovely, but their 'housing' isnt too brilliant.

No i don't do the core or pips for fear of a small orchard growing.

Also constantly clean ears in case of potatoes.

Its quite refreshing to hear this, the lad in question looked at me in the sort of "bless the poor little window licker" way that people do when you ask a bone question after enquiring as to why he would eat the core :D

I too got brought up in the era of the "ear grown potatoes and produce" and also had it readily drummed into me that the rital of the "picking of the beak" would result in a possible fatal collapse of the craneum, however at the same time i was also encouraged to make sure that i always remembered to keep my eyes closed when sneezing to make sure my eyeballs didnt pop out (when in reality that would happen just looking at breasts at a tender age anyway :D ).

Oh the things that parents teach eh,

I mean whats all that about wearing clean shreddies in case you get knocked over, if i saw a bus coming towards me with the intention of knocking me over i would be grateful that i had worn a pair of skidded ones for fear of having even more washing to do later! :D

I eat the core, its nice. So there. The reason trees evolved to produce fruit is so that critters will eat the fruit, and the seeds along with it then Sh*t them out at some distant point therefore spreading the trees genetic code.

So you just get on with your job and sh*t the poor trees seeds out.
