Just put a deposit down on a new staffy pup, picking it up next week.
In desperate need of some ideas for a name.
So far we have some possibles >> Vinny, Bruce and Bobby.

Awwww bless:grin3 ....well you could have that old favourite...Rossi....:clap
For some reason 'Spud' springs to my mind.....but then probably not a good name to be hollering across the fields on walkies....lolol.:jumping2

anything has to be better than Bubble, which seeing as our dog was Double Bubble as a racer, makes perfect sense - but when we lost him we felt stupid shouting "bubble, bubble, come back bubble"
face it, woudl you respond to that?!!! :grin2
Sandy? I'm liking Spud tbh :clap

Got to be Vinny for me I'm afraid :grin2 Is close enough to a normal name for the poor pup not to feel like a muppet out in public, has a slight 'double ard' feel to it too and also sounds good doubled barrelled with suitable expletives when he's being a BAD TOAD :grin2

Call him Dave
My mate has a staffy called Dave. Sounds hilerious when he's yelling at him down the road.
Well, we have narrowed it down to Vinny or Bruce unless another name comes up.
Here are some of the rejected names ::
Marlow (way too gay)
Bobby (reminded me of Bobby davro)
Max (too common)
Jack (my current staffy's name .... who has cancer)
Jake (too much like Jack)
'Oi' (just sounded funny at first for when we called him)
'Sit' (was funny like above but rejected on the grounds of cruelty)
Billy and various other names (all too common)

You cant call a dog bruce! :D
imagine the trauma it would go through at its first socialisation class when all the others asked its name and ****ed their sides laughing at the poor critter! :D (okay i am trying to think like a hound now! :D ).
Bruce? hmmm big butch looking dog with a soft name like that, hang on what about "Butch"
nah sack that idea, that reminds me of women in comfortable shoes and it wouldnt be fair on the dog either :D

lets not even go there!
the ex wife has my Rottweiler down in (hopefully rainy :D :D ) Wiltshire.
that soppy sod (the dog not the bint) would stand as tall as me on its back legs, quite gracefully greet me when i visited by perching its front legs on my arm, slipping its tongue into my lug ole (not as erotic as it might sound trust me ;) :D ) and then sneakily slashed all over the front of me!!!!
man's best friend my arse :D
if i stood next to you happily passing the time of day whilst ****ing in your pocket there would be fisticuffs in normalsville, if i had clouted the dog for giving me the golden shower i would have been in nick! :D
anyway i digress, may your pup be pleasant and your clothes **** free! :D

Well your going to find yourself calling him the common names... favourites are:
Little f*cker!:grin1
Getoffmyseatyoub%tch:grin2
darlingthedogsshatonthecarpetagain:grin3
And of course the personal favourite
ithinkthedogshungry:shooter (whilst its ripping up your favourite pair of slippers)
I personally think something that you come up with, maybe a name you combine names of certain things..
When i got my pup i struggled for names as well.. i settled on Zena, which was a combined name of the dog we had, german shepherd called Zeus, and his grandmother who had died.. Sheena..---Zeena (shortened down).
A friend of mine has a great dance called Duke.. and no not from fools and horses.. but named after her fathers Ducati apparently..
If you still cant think of a name.. just think of 101 dalmatians.. imagine being the owners of them.. and they ALL had names (i think?:reading)
Call him BORAT lol!:D
