I am lookin for any info on the particular bike, im lonkin at buyin one as a second rd bike and a track day bike. The one i have seen is blue and white with 28,000 miles on an N-plate no service either £2200. Would this be a good buy?

If it hasnt got a service history then personnally i wouldnt touch an SRAD with that sort of mileage, especially the 750 (unless its a WW which is the injection model >98)
One of the problems the SRAD (especially the earlier ones) had was that the cam timing chain would give out, causing quite a bit of damage, electrics were prone to packing in (as has been seen on here quite a few times) and both the 600 and the 750 pre injection models get more than their fair share of carb iceing.
If you can get the next model up (Y) or even the early K series its a much better bike and far less prone to any expensive problems.
That being said the 98 injected 750 (WW) is a monster, easily capable of getting over 130 rwhp and is known to be one of the best handling bikes made.
It pays to shop around but if you have got £2200 on the hip then keep looking as that budget will pick up one with slightly less mileage and at least some history if you are prepared to look around a bit ;)

I had a 750 WT. Superb bike and a quality track machine, but as latey said.....those bikes were totally open to abuse.along with problems ! Go for the injected model if your gonna get one. But dont go high mileage and check the bike over VERY carefully (forks, gearbox, head stock etc ) most of them spent there life on one wheel !:grin2

Yeah but to spend more money id rather send another 800 or so and get an R1 and track the vtr, then also if i was to crash it i have got the option of street fightering it
