Had some new tyres fitted the weekend. The tyre bloke talked me into trying the new Pilot road 2ct's sports touring, there've only been out 2 weeks I think. I've only had them on since Friday but I must say that so far I'm pretty impressed:clap . Aparently there just as sticky on the edges as the power's and a harder compound in the centre to give more millage(I think). That was always a problem for me, I do so many miles comuting I found I'd square tyres off really quickly. Anyway I'm very pleased with the grip, I've had them in the wet also and there pretty god damn good:clap . As for the millage, I'll let you know in due course. Got them for £211 fitted what I thought was quite good, same price as the powers.
Just thought I'd share that with you all:grin2 :grin2

Been reading the reviews of these, and if they are what i am thinking they are the Pilot Road 2 (and not Pilot Road 2CT's as that place in Harold Hill are calling them ;) ).

The design is pretty much the same as their Pilot Road tyre with the same concept as the 2CT, seemingly the Pilot Road was a tyre that was already hard to beat for commuting and supersport touring anyway, if its got softer edged i imagine this will become the next best thing for all round riding come the summer :) :)

Thats them, I always got the powers before but the grip on the these seems just as good. If there as good on the millage as they say then I'll stick to these in the future I think.i Didn't think the road tyres would give as much grip as they do:grin2
