The almighty Ducati and the amazing Stoner made the Yamaha with the 5 times world Champ Valentino look so ordinary today. Awesome start to the season. It is looking like a 3 horse race; Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa. Who is your money on? I still think Rossi can do it, since, Quatar is not representative of all the other tracks. But it will be fun to find out init?:bike2
Thanks............................................ .........................

You will be very wrong. It is a must see race. If you don't, then you would not appreciate how awesome the 800s are.

I was surprised that it took so long for this to make it into MCN as i read about this a few weeks ago, it wont just affect MotoGP bikes, if it goes ahead, every single bike that is used in this country will need to be registered and carry a number plate, that includes mini motos and any bike that is used for competition off road too, so all the motocross bikes, all the road race bikes.
Now whilst that doesnt sound too painful considering all race bikes are supposed to have a V5, it does cause a problem because most race teams change their engines and frames on a regular basis, even down to club level, imagine having to do all the paperwork everytime you change an engine, imagine the problem with having to register a frame that has been written off for road use, straightened and aligned and then used for track use :)
The whole idea of it is absolutely ridiculous, not to mention the Policing it would need to actually make it work, the sad fact is when the geezer that had the brain fart to concoct this idea, sat down to write it all, he seemingly forgot to exclude competition and track bikes in all of this, so all the track bikes will need to be registered with DVLA too,
what a farce :D
Anyway back to the MotoGP, i knew who won, but i didnt know the rest of it, so as mentioned in the future just use something like "for those that dont want to know the MotoGP result" in the title and then its up to them if they read it :D

Hi
Seeing the Duke fly past Rossi reminded me of the first outing for the good old JPS Norton at Snetterton.
Qatar suited the Ducati with it's long straight but I think the next race at Jerez will see a different story.
I would not discount Edwards or Hopkins for that matter and Elias could turn in the odd shock performance.
My money once again will be on Rossi.
By the way check out http://www.motogpmanager.com/
