i resently bought a vfr40 and i toke it out for a ride and the right rearset broke. it caked at the bolt holes where it bolts to the frame. anyone know a way 2 fix it. i thought welding it would do but will they be o.k o will they break again. or will it be cheaper to buy second hand rear sets.

Welding it = A BIG NO NO!!
Get a 2nd hand / new pattern set they'll be better!

how much will they cost? why not weld it?
Are they Cromed or alloy? They will be a pian to wels and will look rough.
Get some new ones, find some at a breakers or simply make some like I do for my race bike. All you need is a bit of 10mm thick plate and drill some holes! Jobs a good un.
