Hi Chaps & Chap-esses.

There was a major power outage at the Data Centre I work in yesterday... what a nightmare that was, 4 floors of servers all down!

Poor old Koko (the server that runs this site) is in that building and so had no power between around 13:56 to 14:05. Apache (the web server program) needs to be manually started when the server comes back up which I wasnt able to do until later on in the afternoon - I had to co-ordinate all the chickens running round with no heads ;)

I get SMS alerts now when certain things go down so I know straight away pretty much, but thanks to all those who mailed/called/text me - it is all appreciated.

Great news but you need to add a "Report A Post" Button for all the spam posts now !

Mick deletes spam posts pretty promptly for the most part - he jumps on at least 5 a day before you lot notice :grin2

And I do beleive that there is already a report a post function - as I'm pretty sure he's received some of those too.

Didnt know about that banner, am thinking of getting some pc games and/or dvds.. will bear it in mind, especially if it helps the site out..

most of the 100's of DVD's we have bought over the years have been from Play, use the international link on their and get the Region 1 stuff normally before it hits the streets here too, always been fantastic :)
