Yesterday afternoon, on the A120 from Braintree towards Stansted, doing about 65 to 70, a car had been following me for a while, before racing past. Further along the road it pulled into a layby and four people got out. As I passed, they were pointing what appeared to be some sort of camera at me.
I certainly wasn't speeding, so no worries there. Just hope I'm not being set up to have the bike nicked to order.

I can see how that would give you a cause for concern! Very unnerving!

Something similar happened to me last summer. I had a car with four twenty somethings in it tail me on my brand new R1 to my street. I got worried and drove past my house and carried on through town and lost them in heavy traffic before doubling back home. Other bikers at work suggested that i was being shadowed for a later steal. I was worried for a couple of weeks that my bike would be nicked.

that is strange. i dont see how pointin a camera will help them out though as they would of got your reg from being behind you. sure they wernt just a few lads dreaming?! lol. I would be worried if someone came past my house takin pics of my bike on the drive though!

I don't thinkl these particular chaps were taking pics. I think they were just interested in where l kept the bike.

Yea, about how to steal a bike is 60 seconds. That would be one documentary to see.

got a description of the car? (colour, make, possible reg?) :shooter it's just that (i'm guessing..) quite a few of us on EB use this stretch of road, and from what iv'e seen there is some attractive metal out there. Keep 'em chained up (the bikes! :grin2 ) and under cover guys and girls- not that u need me to tell u!
