Ok, so i started my bike up the other day, and it started for about 10 seconds, and then died on me, and i have not got it going again since. I found the problem to be with the spark plug, and the lack of a spark !
Ive read that other ppl have ahd a similar problem to this, does any one no what it could be - i know my way round an engine, and ive check all i can without taking the bike apart compleatly !!
If anyome has any ideas or knows wats wrong with my poor bike please let me know !
O yeah, and hello to everyone BTY, im new here - not from essex, but im a biker (well, fairly new to it!) Any one here from devon wanna go for a ride once i get up and going again ?

well im no expert but if spark plug aint sparking properly in my opinion you have got a dodgy spark plug or the lead that goes to it, or your spark plug is being fouled, the TZR 125's ive seen around my area smoke like a b*tch and sound like they are about to cut out so i would assume that they are runnig to rich... also saying that my mates 50cc bike did that and it was because the float or watever you call it that stops the fuel goin into the carb had got stuck and was letting loads of petrol in to the carb, u havent seen petrol p*ssing from under the bike at any time have you??...also after that problem he was getting water in his carb somehow and when we rode to college the one time it cut out and wouldnt start again for ages...
could be one of these problems...... could be a load of b*llocks...
(try posting a hello, u may get more answers then mate) :)

Work backwards, so spark plug, spark plug cap, spark plug lead, coil.

I dont know the tzr, is it all electronic ignition? If so then crank sensor or wiring to it is a possibility, finally the cdi unit. But be sure to check for blown fuses etc.
