We have been getting on with my lad Daves RS125

We have decided to concentrate on the functional stuff and leave the cosmetics for another day. On the basis that its his first sports bike and if he is going to drop it, then its better that he does it before we paint it rather than after! LOL.

Still to do are:

Fabricate tank mount lug and get it welded on. (guy we bought it from will weld it on when we take it for MOT)
Fit swinging arm, back wheel & chain
Check oil feed pipes
Obtain and fit tank cap and surround.
refit scuffed fairing

Meanwhile, he has taken and passed his bike theory test, and he is doing an asessment ride next tuesday, with a view to doing bike training monday and tuesday the week after and his test on wednesday http://www.visordown.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif

He has been on the road a couple of weeks, he has seen Drew and Sam about on his travels. Bike looks good apart from needing a new screen. He reports it is running like a dream!
