Hey everyone,
I'm looking to buy a set of red LEDs to put on the underside of my frame and under my seat, to highlight my engine and wheel/hugger. I'd like to have them on a switch, so that i can just turn them on at night etc. I have a Sachs Madass, but i don't suppose that's important.
I saw that they have a set in Halfords, but it runs of a cigarette lighter.
Does anyone know of any solution?
Thanks very much everyone :grin2

Two questions :)
On the M&P site, which ones should i be looking at? Searched LED but came up with loads.
And how are these things wired up? Do they have a switch or something?
Also, does anyone know what these electro pods are like?
ANd how do they mount/turn on?
Thanks everyone!

I bought a £50 LED set from Harpers in Leigh. Contains 6 LED pods (3 pairs) and 2 x 8 inch strips. They are all attached with double-sided sticky pads, but I screwed the strips to the belly pan using screws provided. If you don't mind spending the money I would definitely recommend this kit...plus it comes with a waterproof switch!
Hope this is some help

Hey everyone. Cheers for the input.
After looking round, the pod things were £50, which seemed a little expensive.
I eventually found a set on ebay. The user's name is "joe-florida", and he does a set with a switch and 10-20 LEDs. I got ten in red for £25 with postage. Definately worth it, really bright, fused, decent switch.
Even got a freebie pod of four LEDs.
WOuld reccommend him to you lot!

Most of us enjoy riding not looking like something from the Fast and the Furious ;) :D

Lol, fair point, but thats why i chose LEDs. They're not too over the top, quite subtle.
Look good on show bikes anyway.
Infos there for anyone who does fancy em anyway :grin2
Just make sure the LEDs are 12V and the lighter plug doesn't have a transformer in it.
