hi tark can i ask a question which i have always wondered, how would someone get into racing and how much does it cost roughly???

Oh No Not this old Chestnut!

Its only 7am so I will keep it short! All you need to start racing is a Race Licence, ACU test day thing (but I didn't have to do this when I started so dont know much about it), Club membership and a Race prepared bike. You can use a road bike with a race fairing and few bits of lock wire if you have to.

As for money it will cost you about £200 a weekend for race entries at club level and then the sky is the limit as far as Vans, Caravans, Bikes, Tyres etc etc. Tyres will cost you about £200 a set but you can use them for half a season or just a weekend. Depends on how competative you want to be and how hard your pushing.
