New TZR125 owner

I recently bought an old tzr125 (unfaired) and I haven't stopped grinning since i rode it home. Just getting used to the narrow, top end power band, but haven't quite got the hang of pulling away sharply without spinning up the back wheel. Not great when you seem to do this at every set of traffic lights....

Is this just my duff clutch control? Maybe a suspension thing (I know it had new shocks fitted just before it was sold)? Or is it just a tzr thing?!

Its more likely to be a wet greasy road thing or your rear tyre compound.
