My working from home day this week. Finished early and decided to catch the last of the day on the local lanes.

This is a local byway that has been concreted for a few 100 yards. Done by the US airforce in 1943.

And this is one of the reasons why. A bomb shelter for an adjacent anti- aircraft battery. Nothing left of that except the concrete foundation slab though.

Last lane of the evening as I got a text from my Dad saying he was back in hopsital after escaping for a day due to contracting MRSA so I had to shoot up the hospital from here.

Nice evening. Looks like you could get away from it all down there.

Nice evening. Looks like you could get away from it all down there.Very peaceful, just the odd bobble hatted twonk giving you the evil eye occasionally. They are very good for providing traction in the winter when it gets a bit slippery though.

went out on the XR yesterday, and nearly every byway we went to had a six month TRO on it for repairs.
non were had any sign of being repaired.
your one probably escaped cos its concrete, though all them ones up there are quite dry, so should be OK.
looks like its time to put the dirt bike away till winter, thought it might be fun having rained a lot.
did manage to drench my mate by shooting past him just as we got to into the ford near home, well deserved after the times hes got me.:laugh1
