I went for test ride on 2007 R1 today and i was quite dissapointed really, in slow corners it just didnt want to know like i was in wrong gear even though i wasnt, but on a straight woah f*ck me! Does that fly i just held the throttle open cause i wanted more, over all not bad

With the 2007 R1, you have to ride it like a 750. It likes the revs up for it to perform elegantly. You dont have to worry about over reving it because the YCC-T system will ensure the engine does not over deliver the required power for the grip through thge corner. That always catch out people who are new to the newer R1s.

If you are too cautious with it, then you would find it abit dull.
