..........a standard (road legal) exhaust can? I need to get the bike Mot'd. Oh I also need a MPH speedo if there's one knocking about.

Nah just ask Juliet, she has got a Remus road legal can with standard 3 bolt mounting and also a UK speedo that was taken off her track bike :)

Dal you've probably had the mot done by now, but my CBR400 has gone through numerous MOTs with a kmh speedo with no bother, so it might be ok?

Not necessary to have one, but if fitted I believe it has to be operational.
