aaaah a rare moment when you could actually see racers through the spray, what cracked me up was that the WSB racing got cancelled and these nutcases carried on racing ;)

But it was extremely wet, very windy and damn cold too :D

but the racing was top draw ;)

Exiting a flat out in fifth kink then hitting standing water, (that's after the mud left by crashing Mini Dins :grin2 )you can't beat it. Unless your CDI box happens to be full of water and remapping your ignition each time the bike leans that is and your quickshifter is turning off the engine as and when it feels like it.

It's the sort of day when spanner men start wet, stay wet, and finish wet while racers peer at them out of the caravan window whilst moaning that the genny won't run the heater.:grin2

Oh yeah finding out PF pads don't work in the wet when braking for a first gear hairpin on a Cagiva Rupture was quite amusing too. :jumping2

Never done Keith code no brakes drill through an 8 lap race before. :grin2

I think Steve Palmer had to take the ride of the weekend. He broke the Pembery 400 lap record on Saturday by miles (already held by Bemsee and re-set in race 1) on a lap he was actually travelling down the start finish straight on the grass.:grin2

Yup, the award for the longest tank slapper on grass does indeed go to Steve Palmer, he also got the award for the biggest set of eyes (talking real mad dogs ******** size here! :D ) too whilst it happened and i think he actually took the title for neatest bunny hop from the grass back to the track too :D

And he did that all that and still managed to keep his position :D

noises from the crowd were something along the lines of

ooooooooooh nooooooooo, what the f*** and how the f*** did he stay on that :D :D

The weather was cack but it was a good weekend nonetheless :)

Oh and young Sy Langford from Wickford was up to his tricks again in the rookie 600's, 3 seconds ahead after lap 1 and then started lapping people on lap 4

Must admit it was a bit wet coming back from Pembrey. I nearly had to turn the heater on in the van. :grin2
