and OH. MY. LORDY. LORD. IN. HEAVEN. ABOVE.
the track is AMAZING, very fast and basically i didnt have the balls to make full use of the opportunity, but it was a brilliant circuit with plenty of lovely lovely left handers to take advantage of!
it was a brilliant weekend, but slightly overshadowed by 3 broken collarbones and a concussion :( - upsetting as two of my mates collided and Bob was face down in the gravel as we went past :(
anyway. i dont have any track photos yet but i can feel the improvements i've made to my body positioning since spending a few minutes with CSS and putting everything into practice. i came second from last in the race (but beat a 620 so not a bad day reall!) but was gutted because i'd managed to get past Gilps, a team mate, but then hit neutral 3 times coming out of a hairpin and of course he went steaming past me. i was 0.3 seconds behind him on the line
here are some piccies all the same!
the best bit was after the race, all the marshalls were waving and clapping and waving their hats and flags etc at us, giving us the thumbs up, evyerthing, i really felt very important! a really nice touch and a lasting memory of the weekend.

an addition to the bike for the weekend - courtesy of Rob and a bottle of my red sparkly nail varnish - a reflection of my status as back marker!

BSD developments were racing a 1098 in Sound of Thunder for a feature in RiDE magazine, and their bike needed babysitting overnight......BRAVE!

Friday night track walk - definitely a 2-3 beer circuit - at 3+ miles it is a long walk especially given how hot it was!

one of the other racer's wives, Kimberley, is a nail technician and had her kit with her so i took advatnage of her advantageous rates in a pathetic attepmt to improve my lap times!
