Being a postie - I often do my round in shorts. I usually change back into trousers for the ride home ( even though if I had an off I'd still be a mess).
On the one occassion that I decided to ride home in my shorts and shirt, I passed a biker on a black K6. I gave him a nod and he gave me the w*nker hand.
I haven't ridden in shorts and shirt since....

to be honest same as me mate, i dont nod at any biker with shorts on or tshirt your just asking for trouble, best thing i ever hurd what would u rather??
Sweat, little smelly from hot day with leathers?
or
Skin graft cause you thought its to hot for leathers i will be ok?
Hurd a friend of mine his mate took his mates girlfriend on the back of his bike she was wearing a skirt and he thought no i aint letting ya on here with a skirt on anyway women being women and blokes being blokes he said alright i aint going far with ya, anyway he hit some oil came off he was fine got up noting wrong apart from bruised sholder, she didnt get off so lightly, she had to have skin grafts and also cant wear a skirt again cause of how bad it looks. since i hurd that i never let anyone on the back without the gear for the sake of bit of sweat bit extra time putting it on its worth it...
At the end of the day you wouldnt walk into a fire with shorts and t-shirt on so why get on a bike with it?? cause it would hurt just as much!

An old friend of mine had only had his full licence for a couple of months and "borrowed" his dads new hayabusa to ride to newcastle to meet another friend of ours at uni.
On the way back he was in the fast lane on the motorway when a car pulled in behind him and caught the back wheel at around 115mph.
He was thrown into the central barrier where he stopped almost instantly , and the bike carried on down the road.
He had to have 6 skin grafts on his hands (palms)/back/elbows/feet!!(soles)/legs and his buttocks.
His mum had to wipe his a**e for him for 2 months and was in hospital for 6 weeks.
And what was he wearing ......
Tracksuit and trainers!
BTW 2 days later he had to have 4 teeth removed as thay were shattered from hitting the barrier so hard.
So wear the proper gear!

He wasnt allowed to use the busa and the worst part was he wasnt insured and the bike was a complete write off!!!.
They found the engine 100yds away from the rest of the bike!!!
It only has 500miles on the clock aswell!
