Hi guys and gals I'm new here,
but I could really do with a bit of brain picking, I'm in need of removing the rotor from my sons Tzr 125rr 4DL italian import, main bearings and seals shot.
From what I can remember from days gone by it should only be a matter of removing the nut and then pulling the rotor off the shaft with a suitable puller.
As you are probably aware the manuals for this are rarer than rocking horse ****e and my yamaha puller was designed to screw into the rotor, not in this case as it seems everything is in reverse the coils are mounted to the outer casing and the rotor fits around them. The starter sprag clutch appears to be fitted underneath the rotor . Can one of you guys help out this old timer so I can get the crank to PJME's for a rebuild next week.

Members on here with TZR RR seem to be few and far between. Even more so with the italian models. I am not sure to be honest as I had the UK version and never had to do anything with that side of things. Also I couldn't get a Haynes manual for it so never bothered. Seems like you are mechanically mided so without trying to teach you how to suck eggs I dont think there is much I can suggest. Hopefully someone will know a bit better or be able to google search something for you.

thanks for the reply, I have now managed to remove it. Applied the puller and then gave it a whack from behind with a parallel pin punch, and it let go.
Goes against my better judgement but hey these things have to be done sometimes. All stripped now awaiting crank rebuild, but a week in Egypt comes first methinks.
