Late 1998 model (31st Dec '98) RSV1000 Mille. Bike is gloss black with an EZ graphics kit fitted.
Front and rear suspension have both been upgraded - Nitron Race rear (hi/lo speed compression, ride height etc.), re-sprung 996 Showa front end. Brakes have been updated to later Brembo Goldline 4-pad calipers with braided lines (rear brake actually works too!). Carbon front and rear huggers.
Titanium chip and Leo Vince Titanium hi-level exhaust (e-marked), also original Aprilia exhaust. Carbon fibre air inlet kit with ITG filter. Last dyno run showed 113 RWHP
Gilles adjustable rearsets, Nagahide seat.
Clutch pressure plate recently uprated to newer spec by Southern Cross to prevent slipping. They actually stated that this was a very well sorted and rideable Mille.
500 miles on new Pilot Powers.
Recently changed plugs, filters, oil. Good C&S's (1 down on front sprocket)
Datatool Veto alarm. New 14AH battery fitted in April. Complete sprag clutch was replaced about 12 months back.
Bike is an excellent starter hot and cold.
Original manuals and reams of service receipts etc.
HPI clear.
Around 5 months tax remaining, 12 months MOT.

Looking for around £1800 ono. Willing to discuss as I need to sell to buy trick bits for my Factory!
Mail stuarts.rsv1000(at)googlemail.com Remove the (at) and replace with @ of course, then I'll reply with my phone number etc.

You do get a lot of bike for the money with the older RSV's and the noise they make......:love1
I would probably get more for it if I sold it for parts but it is far too good for that.
To tell the truth, it actually looks better in real life as the photos are a little overexposed.

I've got a few years on you (36) but I insured it on a new policy last year with no NCB and it cost me £110.
Guessing age / history will affect your premium but they are not as much to insure as you may think. I insured that bike through A-Quote, my newer RSVR Factory is insured through Motorcycle Direct and costs £238 with 2 years NCB.

Very different bike to a Bandit - I used to have a Bandit 1200 alongside this Mille.

Probably not a bad quote given your age, history and the performance of the bike. Let me know if you ever want to view the bike.
Will only consider eBay as a final option, far too many time wasters. Would rather loose a few quid and see it go to a good local home.

I'd actually rather love a TLS too but 1. The wife would probably shoot me and 2. I could do with a few quid to spend on my new bike.

The other option I have considered is to turn it into a shared ownership track bitch with a few mates. I bet it would be stunning as a circuit bike....

Sure the new owner is going to enjoy terrorising the locals on it!
