Ok so I have bought used panels for my bike but im going to send them off to get a race rep paint job. So I can still restore the bike to standard should I want to sell up. Mayaswell cheer myself up by doing everything that I wanted to in one go. So far these are the options...

Does anyone have any recommendations when it comes to resrays? Anyone had any good or bad experiences or advice? Know someone who does "discount"

The maco at the top is the dogs. Corona and rizla are just too common now.

I'm gonna say the Dunlop, looks sweet as. Top one looks a mess and same as the other comments, others are way too common.

What about this Jay? The Relentless rep from the TT, You dont see many of these on the road! I've got to find the pics that go on the tank though! as that one's not quite finished!

Right!!!

As some of you know when i had my 750 i spent just shy of £1000 getting dream machine to do the original Suzuki MOTO GP scheme...before they went gay and signed to Rizzla and that horrible baby blue!

Anyway....i loved it....absolutely...to the point i carried round a cloth and cleaning solution to make sure it stayed tip top......this however took over my life and began to get tiresome VERY VERY quickly.....its more hassle than its worth....and when you get that first stone chip...well, the world may as well explode and vapourise half the galaxy with it.....coz when that first one appears you find a million more and all of a sudden the bike starts looking a bit poor.....you loose interest and therefore you stop caring for it...then some tw*t will no doubt pull across in front of you smashing the thing up and ruining it all about 3 months later!!!

spend the money on tuning the engine and get youre enjoyment from that instead.......i dont think i'll ever get another custom paint job again!

theres sense in what captain is saying! i think youll only spend ages cleaning and caring for it that youll just get fed up! and if something goes wrong (crash) its more expensive!

see some sense there.... However the bike needs respraying regardless of what colour it is. So may aswell be a nice race rep until I decide to sell it. And now I have fully comp insurance and not intending on throwing it down the road again.

All ican say is...go for the one you dont see around much....every tom **** or harry has the rizzla and corona scheme obvioulsy due to its high profile in racing.

Out of em all i liked the first picture, although that relentless one is pretty awesome too

i wanted the white one. but i dont think it looks all that fab now. and i wanted to be the only person that had it, and i saw one at a mallory park trackday and it took the shine off it

and the lovely captain's comments on a PM helped me make my decision that race rep and dream machine wasn't for me.....some of you may know that i'm not really a girl prone to cleaning things :grin2

my bike has a couple of little scuffs but when i asked about part-exing it recently, what really pushed the value down was the mileage rather than the scuffs. the amount i'd lose on it, well i've definitely had that much fun out of it, but i'm not sure i can bear to part with it just yet :grin2 and through a frankly ludicrous set of circumstances i may be forced to give it its trackday debut at Oulton on Friday

anyway.....moving swiftly back on topic, i like the relentless one!
