Most of you know about my little spill......
Im currently insured 3PFT with Carol Nash..... I got quoted Fully Comp today when looking to upgrade £1800!!!!! :laugh1
So tried Bennets £500... More like it
So my question is I have paid my insurance up for a year... Have been insured with them for 4 months. If I cancel my policy will I get a rebate?
Or will they stiff me!?

Age has its benefits.....
If you phone Carole Nash back and tell them Bennets quote you may find they will try and match it to keep your custom. I have done it many times. Only thing is that Bennets exclude all the extras and you have to add them all on which takes the price up. Not another £1300mind you but you will have to pay extra for the breakdown cover, european cover, legal expenses etc etc where with Carole nash that all comes as standard.
You will get a rebate which they should be able to tell you on the phone. If you stay with them this money can be used to part pay your new policy. I am supprised to hear the difference in price to be honest cos Bennets is always more expensive for me.
You will also loose your 4 months worth of No Claims so will have to start that again which is a Bummer! I just had that problem when I swapped from my KTM to the RSVR cos I was insured with a company that would only insure off road bikes.

Bennets seem real cheap lately, im 19 2 years ncb and licence 2 years almost, quoted me £500 tpft on a gsxr 600 and 750, R6 CBR6 and z1000 ect but £1000 full comp on above, and £1000 tptf on gixxer 1000 and r1, that was only if garaged though, if i keep off road they wouldnt give me a quote, not bad as i pay £800 tfo on the 6r at the mo

Be carefull as well when getting quotes as some insurance companies will quote you a decent price but the excess is sky high. Express Insurance are good at that. When they quoted me £157 for my gsxr600 I thought thats great till I see the excess was £600.
So thats "bog off" express insurance services then. :grin2

More than likely its sooo ridiculous, i had an 02 bandit, had a fault claim sfter writing the bandit off & they refuse to insure me on another one, but they will insure me on a 99 srad 600!! defies logic huh!!

Here's another angle on it...
I pay 87 quid a year to insure my bike TPF+T with a 500 quid excess. Lets say i have a J Gates moment, have a small "off" and do a grands worth of damage. I fork out a grand for the repairs, as the Ins Co will not pay out.
Now, why would i pay out in between 1 and 2 grand for fully comp and LOSE more money. (if i don't even make a claim anyway).
Surely i'm forking out even more money goin fully comp.
I'm one of these people who hates insurances because it an absolute con. The only thing i've ever insured is my car and bike.

agree with you there, thats what puts me off fully comp, i have 2 pay a 400 quid excess, plus lose my ncb meaning expensive to insure another 600 plus i end up with a write off if its over the 400 quid so the bike wont be worth what i paid anyway

Bennets insure me for multi bikes FC and I get breakdown for £9 per year addition. One bike has £700 of hard luggage extra and they cover that with no extras. Cheapest so far for my needs. But then I am an old git with full no claims and have never had to claim in 30 odd years.
I have 4 years NCB at the age of 21 and I get the RSVR Insured for £300 with Carole Nash. Some were quoting me nearer £3000!!! Its a crazy old world!
