Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster

Hey guys,

Friday i was given an opportunity to ride the new Harley Davidson xl1200 Sportster Lowrider!,

It was fantastic! i had gr8 fun for 2 hours riding in & out of london! other road users seemed to respect the bike a bit more I have no idea why (maybe the slash cut pipes helped)

But i now have a dilemma i liked it that much that i want one, but dont want to swap it for the gixxer!

If i manage by some sheer miracle to afford one another problem is the insurance! anyone know of or come by harley insurance companies, theres no real rush as im trying desperatley to scrape 8 grand together but if you hear of any insurers for harleys could you let me know!!

I hadn't thought about racing that! Damn good idea that man!! pmsl!!

I will still own a gixxer but for track days, & racing is still under negotiations, but it seems (an i'm not wanting to put all my eggs into one basket) that a friend of my cousin has a "team" if you could call it that in a smaller class & possibly an mz series too, that i might be able to get a ride on, but its back to the original plan of Lots & lots of trackdays, i just need an alternative mode of transport first in case i trash the gix,

Which will probably be the car, which then lead me to fighting toof 'n' nail at not loosing my bike for the road..... a calmer one so i dont kill myself or others............. Cue the Hardly Movin'son......
