After my crash ruined a £300 lid, and £1000 worth of Alpinestars gear I re-assessed what I should be spending on gear. I was forced to budget but wanted a good comprimise between safety and style, what I saved allowed me to get fully comp insurance.
This is what I got for my money....
A shark RSR helmet, with what I think are sum pretty cool graphics.. And a blue iridium visor. Cost me £130.
A set of Clarion Suzuki leathers from the USA £280 shipped! Not to everyones taste but come with lots of armour and zip lining. After removing the inner "jacket" and swapping the armour for the alpinestars inners they feel excellent! As I said cheap cheerful and safe!
