i think its the fact that people cant handle real torque and that they cant read the speed that they are approaching bends and corners so it didnt sell as well as Suzuki expected thats why they dropped it from their line up also when the TL first came out the public were at the time requesting a fast turning 125 bhp 1000 v twin from japan , born again riders thought that they could handle it being as rode their z900 and z1000 twenty years before but what that they didnt realise is the power to weight ratio has altered dramatically ie z900 80bhp to 540lbs....TL1000 125 bhp to 370 lbs and also that they think that they are better riders than thay actually are

:grin2:grin2 You tried getting a Z900 or 1000J round a corner with the engine casings dragging on the floor and both ends wobbling in different directions. :grin2:grin2

Nice bike. :)

i know exactly what mean Phil did you ever ride the awesome H1 or H2 triples ??? i had both of them at one time or another ive had 5 xs1100's for some reason i tend to like bikes that have a reputation for bad handling .........perhaps i like to be in control of something that can go out of control at any moment for no reason i just think it sharpens the senses and lowers the reaction time well thats my excuse anyway or i just like to have a challenge :clap
