View Full Version : Dilemma
Today I had a test ride on the GSXR1000 K7 and what a tool it was.
Handling was superb, slipper clutch great and a comfortable ride, couldn't find a fault with it, apart from the twin exhausts.
Now do I spend my hard earned cash on this amazing bit of kit
OR...........................
Do I do the K4 up
Ohlins Rear Shock, Ohlins Front Springs, Power Commander, Gold Wheels, Gilles Rear Sets, Pazzo Levers and other bits and bobs.

K7 m8 because you already have a K4 you know what its like you said yourself you'd like a change, you will get used to the twin exhausts and even if you was to spend the Cash on the K4 would it be as good as the K7 is?
Or I could forget that idea and get a new car..................

Dont worry about the twin exhausts you can always change them to a single system theres a few companies that do them already, or you could buy the k6 thou which is a better bike anyway! :grin2

I'm with lateshift here, been hearing one too many complaints about brand new Suzukis. I'd wait until things like, oh I dunno, crap gearboxes are sorted!
I wouldnt go near a new zuki at the mo'.
Much better bikes out there, maybe not as easy to ride, but better. Just open your mind to new possibilities Kev. :)

phil was looking at a new Z1000 and didnt like the exhausts, the lovely wayne in the shop (and of whane the instructor fame!) told him well dont worry about them you cant see them when you're riding the bike :grin2
i agree the twin rocket launchers look hideous :shooter and would put me off for sure. i would need to ride one to make sure it was better to ride than to look at!
i will be selling my K6 but it wont be shiny enough for you i dont think :grin2
if you love your K4 then just keep that.
