As i now have the new bike the blue helmet and leathers just arent going to cut it and to be honest i should have replaced the helmet a long time ago. i must admit tho that i am very atatched to my AGV GP pro and i have thought nothing but great things for it, so at the moment i am heading towards buying another one but their colour schemes arent fantastic now.
Just wonderd if anyone wanted to throw a spanner in the works and suggest an alternative, and if anyone has had the gp pro before and changed what their opinion is?
Obviously im now riding an aprilia mille, i like the fact that the agv is italian, and colours have to be ideally black, with a touch of red, sorry i like to look a tart lol

It might be worth your while looking at KBC lids...I've had 3 over the last 3 years and they're comfy and look the nuts (shape-wise and colour schemes)...i know there's a red/black grim reaper design at the moment.
Check out their site http://www.kbc-helmet.com/ . I go to Harper's in Leigh as they're the closest supplier to me.
Also, a KBC likely to cost you less than £200...my last was £80 down from £200..result!!
Good luck choosing mate..

All depends on the shape of your bonce really....
I've got a Shoei XR1000 and an AGV Top Vent, as they are the only 2 manufacturers that make lids that fit me well......
Try them all and pick the one that fits / looks best.

Best thing go and try loads on. I have an airoh and a Nitro lid. One too big for my fat head other is perfect fit. And both less than £80 each. Got to go and test before you buy. I didnt with the airoh so thats my own fault.
And doffo use J&S as they have loads of lids on display. Closes is over at Greenwhich near the station/clock tower. Some of the staff are close to useless but just look try and take your time on choosing.

I used to have an AGV XR2 (I think thats similar to the X-vent) and that was great but my new AGV TiTech is rubbish. poorly padded and noisy. Total waste of money. Like many others I find that some lids fit well while others (shoei in my case) won't fit at all.
I have a shark lid which is good but the damn plastic nose thing that sits at the front of the lid inside the visor keeps falling out.
Caberg are good lids for touring as I use one when I go to ireland. Very good at not misting up. I use the V2 one.

i'd go with arai or shoei as i find them the most comfortable. you get what you pay for!
All that matters is that it fit's ok though.
