Right I have got this from another web site. Yes I have been a bad boy visiting another bikers site.

There is a thing called Unity ride that will take place on Sunday 19th August leaving from various places across the capaital. If you are interested then click on the link and register by paying £5.00 and you get a registered number to put on your bike. 26

Of the money raised £4.00 for this goes to Help a London child and Children in need. Please register and come along for a ride out visiting all the London land marks. Closest to Essex is the Excel centre in Docklands.

I went on a unity ride a couple of years back. The one done for the London Bombings. Was crazy!! They pretty much shut down the whole of london for us!! Bikes were over heating all over the place due to only being able to move at times at 5mph due to the heavy traffic caused by the bikes and the BOILING hot weather (must have been a freak weather day! lol)

was great! might do this one, will have to check my diary

Damn, Ive been asked if I fancy jumping out of a plane that day......but I wonder why I am rather tempted to decline that offer and maybe go for this more sedate option instead....lolol....:grin2

I'd love to but got to work & don't think the littlen would survive that far! Once unrestricted then yes

:laugh1Been chatting to some guys who have done the rides in town last year...as much as it is a great day, it is nose to tyre, slow moving, hot and hard work (apparently).

And they would do it once but not again, so I think I may be jumping out of the plane instead!..:grin2:grin2
