Hi guys,

Time comes when I need your help once again.

My 13 Year old Sister Amanda Tooey (Goes by name of Mandy/Mandie)

Has gone missing, supposed to have returned home at half past nine last night, was told she was going to a mates house, and as far as we are aware, never did. Tried all her friends we know of, and so far, no sucess.

She could be anywhere, the police didn't seem too bothered, but we are concerned for her welfare.

Heres a picture and a description of what she was wearing.. if you see anything that even Vaguely matches the description on your travels, please let us know.

Amanda Kelly Tooey

13 Years Of Age

Last Seen: Tilbury

Wearing black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black skechers with a pink S on them.

Thanks in advance.

Isnt this the second time she has gone walkabout (think she was 11 last time wasnt she?).

The Police dont really tend to do anything until the 24hr period has elapsed i think purely because its a reasonable period of time before they commit to searching ;)

Is there any particular reason she wouldnt have come home when supposed to?

Sometimes looking for something or someone is easier than you first think, and they tend to be in the most obvious of places where you wouldnt dream of looking ;)

Keep thinking positive i am sure she will turn up :)

Update:

Still not found her, my mother received a suspicious test message this morning, claiming 'not to worry im round a friends' though my sister knows that she always tells us if shes going to be late or staying somewhere.

Police are tracing it as we speak.:shooter

Ahhhh thats where things fall apart though isnt it, Thirteen and the normality of not always doing as they are told or expected to do, rebelling against authority, gobbing off when asked anything blah blah ;)

hang on thats most kids from 4 upwards isnt it nowadays? :D

still i reckon Crescent could have a point there, party at Ikons for school leavers, the temptation might have been too much and the need to use a friends mobile so its an unidentified number far too easy an option ;)

Not that i know of though it might help!

She attends Gable Hall in corringham. Thanks..

Lateshift though your right about generally kids gobbing off their parents etc, she knows much better then to not say she was coming home...

Either way the police are grouping up the people she hangs round with (the 'GHG's as they call themselves -Gang of hooded Gangstas..yes ok im not making her sound any less a chav..) the seriousness still remains.

Almost 24 Hours.

Its now 43 hours she has been missing. Still no sign and police are currently less than helpful. Posters are going up everywhere we can think of putting them. Known areas are: Tilbury, Corringham, Stanford, East Tilbury, Grays and an occasional lakeside. Alot of posters going in cars so if your in these areas I can send you a poster and if your so kind please put it up in your car or local shop.

We must find her.

ive also sent the picture all round msn, so everyone within the essex area has now got a picture of her as their display pic incase anyone recognises her and has seen her...

All you guys can do is keep a lookout for us on your travels, and like i said, anything even vaguely matching the description is more then what we have to go on at the moment.

Thanks for all the well wishes, its much appreciated.

Perhaps the guvnor would be so kind to put a poster up in the whitehart?

This is terrible news to hear she is still not back yet & the police aren't very helpfull!!.....

You may have done this already & if you have sorry to be not of much help but.....

1. Has she taken any clothes other than what she was wearing?

2. Has she taken any money that you know of, or any cash that was around the house is still there or is that gone?

3. Has she spoken of any web sites or chat rooms she's visited latley or got new friends via the web? (perhaps check her emails, or the cookies & history on your pc's of where she's been browsing.....maybe she's just gone on adventure?) i know this seems a bit invasive but... its a desperate situation!

If you've done this already sorry to take up your valuble time...

We hope she turns up safe & sound guy's, thoughts are with you.

I can't believe you logged onto the computer, browsed this forum, and used superstackers account to reply to the post about us frantically searching for you only for you to come back smugly without even giving us any REAL explanation... so whilst you might be basking in the limelight of the sympathy of essex bikers you can bloody forget it before i enlighten the whole of the forum exactly WHERE you were, WHO you were with, and WHAT you were doing.. so dont act like an innocent victim, you knew exactly what you were doing, exactly where you were going and exactly how you were going to do it BEFORE you even considered what the rest of us would go through!!:shooter

now get off of the computer, stay off the computer and ill now make sure that Lee's account is not saved on that computer anymore!!:shooter

:clap I think the word i'm looking for is "Told" Seriously tho, as glad as im sure everyone is that she's home sounds like she's been a right little terror bout this. Hope she learns her lesson in one way or another. I ran away once, lasted bout 4hours before i got bored and went home, my parents hadnt even noticed coz they knew i was goin to a mates, which i did. lol, i was useless at being bad back then!

Told!

5 of us ran away together when we were kids, we were easily found as we weren't allowed past the last lamp-post in the street!

Bless, I was only 19 :grin2
