Hi All,
I am reasonably new to the area and would like to know if there are any tattoo parlours in Brentwood, Shenfield, Hutton or Billericay?
Hope to hear from you soon
Cheers, Tealeaves

As has been said Stuart at Hepcat in Moulsham Street, Chelmsford is the bees knees! :grin2
He designed & tattooed my cover up across my back from scratch for me & did a brilliant job considering what he had to cover.
He's also done 5 further new tattooes for me on back of my neck, wrists & feet since then & I love all of them. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
Booking system is a bit of a pain as you can only book 24 hours in advance. They used to book in advance but at one point he was booked for 6 months in advance so they changed it. Unless you're quick or lucky getting a Saturday appt is near impossible but at least it's a good recommendation. Would be a bit dubious if any tattooist wasn't in demand.
If you drop into see him tell him I recommended you (he knows me as Purple Niki), maybe I'll get commission, lol :grin3

It doesn't hurt really & this is coming from someone who can't stand needles of any kind, something you like

I think it depends what you get & where & also, of course, your pain threshold.
I used to say that anyone who said tattooes don't hurt must be lying and/or crackers but when I had the one done on the back of my neck it really didn't hurt at all.
That said, I have never known a pain like having my feet tattooed & am so glad it's over.
I look at it from the point of view that firstly it's a finite pain & knowing when it's going to finish makes it easier to deal with & also you have something beautiful to show for it.

I have 9 tatts now, first one i got when i was 16. I have designed one myself and love it to this day.
The thing is with tatts, be original, and try not to get one that you saw on someone else....cos sods law other people have done exactly the same thing!
A while back i wanted to get a barcode on the back of my neck.....but no-one understood the sarcasm and irony involved.
