Hi guys (& gals),

I'm a very new member so this could be a silly and obvious question, but do you actually meet up for rides, track days, events etc???

I live in Hornchurch but am willing to move around a little bit, but just looking for some peeps I can try and keep up with, or can show me some new roads.

So any volunteers?

Ta

Jon

I promise I'm better on a bike than I am a PC (not by much...) but can someone explain where the option is in the user control panel?
Hurts my brain to try and find these things...

Thanks!

At the top of the page under the EB logo (top left of the screen) in the dark blue bit are the function buttons...first one is user CP.

click on that, on the left theres loads of boxes with stuff to click....go down to the Miscellaneous one and click group memeberships

request access to rideouts and gatherings

bosh job done!

Right, touch wood I think it's done.
Filled out a reason, clicked 'join' and it brought me to another page with second dialogue box with what I had just typed, and a time of my application to join.
There was again a button marked 'join group', but pressing that did nothing more than to conjour up the message "This does not appear to be a public group".

I guess I just cross my fingers and sit tight then?

should be alright...its been ages since i did it so unless Dans changed it a bit it should just be a case of waiting to be "checked out" and then you'll be allowed in!
