Went off to yarmouth today for a decent long ride with a few mates & had a wicked day out, even with the series of events that happened!
Set off at 12 from colchester, had some good fun through the twisties on the way from colchester-Lowestoft, picked the pace up a touch as we got on the wider roads (Rather quick in places:grin2), Then found some nice roundabouts to play on & demonstrate some knee down action:grin2
What i didn't know at the time though, was that someone was watching........

Oooops!......
Came off the roundabout & carried on up the road knowing that we were getting a tug, problem was Chris hadnt seen the officer behind or me trying to let him know discreetly that he was coming! & continued to pop the biggest wheelie of the day in full view of the officer! :grin2
So that's two reasons the officer has already before he's even spoken to us......Then as the officer flags us down this happens to johns bike.....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v285/essexbikers/DSC00882.jpg
His tail tidy breaks, falls off & jams in between the tyre & the swing arm, smoke everywhere & doing this to the tyre.......http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v285/essexbikers/DSC00881.jpg
Oh dear!
Anyway we all pull over take off our lids & address the policeman as officer:grin2
He has a chat with us all, firstly me about the knee down, "yes very good, thankyou for demonstrating your knee down technique to me, i think you should be proud of yourself for that one it was a good effort & the sparks off your slider set it off nicely!"
At this point i thought "oh Fook"
Chris got a talking too about the wheelie as well, exactly the same speech
At the end of it and the chat, he turns and says...... "right lads i know your off out to have some fun today as it's a nice day & i dont blame you, all im going to do is give you all a fine for your plates as they are touch small.
Im sure you all have baffles at home for those cans dont you ;)
I didnt see the wheelie or the knee down did i ;)
& i certainly didnt see you speeding did i ;)
He then even led the way to a bike dealer & got a new plate sorted for john as john didnt have his documents with him so he wouldnt get pulled over again!!!!
Oh & did i mention that he only had 2 tickets left on his book for the number plate fines & as he couldn't give all of us a ticket, he said just give the 2 that have the £30 fines £15 each & then you've all been fined £15 each instead of £30! :grin2
I cant believe how much of a diamond bloke he was, just wish some of the others could be like that.
He was polite, understanding & fair.
