Ok..so I have been hunting high and low for a bike I like with a more upright riding position, and I cant really find one that takes my fancy:(
Apart from 2.........that are both KTM !!!!

Super duke or 950sm.........both capable of heaps of fun and some touring thrown in as well !!!

I think im heading towards a supermoto.....:grin2

one of the other DD racers, Lily/Claire, has a 950SM and she loves it, rides it to work every day too (similar commute to mine)

i sat on it at donington, WHAT a joke that was, it's massive! :laugh1

i had a go on a yamaha MT03, i absolutely loved it other than the fact it ran out of puff on a long straight (particularly worrying on an overtake!)

i was seriously thinking about buying one but it just wouldnt be great on the A12 for me and i spend too much time there for it not to be a consideration :rolleyes:

Not worth waiting to have a look at the Aprilia Shiver 750? set to come out towards the end of the year i think (if it hasnt already).

The more digging i do on this the more i find that its expected to be a top notch bike that will give anything in its class a run for its money :)

Even one of last years Dynapro racers (the champion actually) is thinking about buying one of these to put on the track straight out of the crate :D (although in all fairness he works at PDQ and is a suspension tech, still he reckons its going to be a really good bike).

not considered an 04 Tuono? that will give a Superduke or any other sports V Twin a real contest up to around 100mph, and they arent that bad on juice either with their 18ltr tank :)

im not too keen on them but you can get some smart arrow cans on there and your away. Even the 2003 model is nice. You saw my mates one down burnham didnt you? I had a go... Wicked fun!

not too sure why they have bothered with a front wheel on it though, i mean with that sort of power i cant see it getting used that much :D

Must admit, I don't like the BKing.
After riding the FZ1 and knowing what the torque on that did to my arms everytime I rolled the throttle on, I dread to think how much I would ache on a BkIng. Just don't look right and I bet there's a recall in the first year they are out.
