Its an artists impression at the moment, the swing arm is off the RS125 and the bike is a mish mash of the RSV1000 and the RS125 styling.

Aprilia have been harping on about it for a while and it could possibly be a reality if MotoGP does away with the 250cc category in favour of something 'half' the capacity of the 800cc bikes ;)

A 450 twin engine in that frame is bound to be a bit of a rocket and i wouldnt mind having one of them :D

Still a geezer called Pab (owner of RSVR.net) shoehorned the 550 Twin engine from Aprilia's supermotard into an RS250 frame and it went like stink, and since that got shown there was a lot of interest in Aprilia bringing a bike like it into production :)

i do like that very much but i have a bit of a beef with aprilla as my 125 cost me so much on rebuilds an resale value, so if it had longevity, and build quality i could be swayed!

If they go the way of the 400's in Motogp I would have thought everyone one of the main manufacturers will have a 400 sport in their showrooms. ;)

I'll put my name down now for one of the Japans finest :grin2

Your comparing 2 strokes to 4 stroke V twins there, no contest in terms of reliability :)

If this does appear i would hope that the big 4 follow suit and bring back the 400's, although the majority of that is down to public opinion and supply & demand but if MotoGP starts to look at the 400's as an option i dont think it will be too long before they are back.

mmmmm Yamaha R4 :D :)

Yeah they've been chuntering about that bike for ages and an R4 does actually exist according to our sponsor who's seen one. Doubt the R4 will ever look as good as the Aprilia though.

Sooner they bring out some 400s that weren't designed arounds Japan's 56HP limit they had the better.
Then we can tune them to death and really irritate the hell out of the Powerbike guys on test days.:grin2:grin2:grin2
