How To Post Pictures

There are a few ways to do this.

1.

If you know of a picture somewhere on the net you can copy the URL link for that picture by right clicking, properties and the copy the link.

Then in the post you wish to show the picture paste the link. Then highlight the link and click on the "Img" tag above.


2.

I you have a picture you want to show that is on your hard drive firstly you need to upload it to the {EB} Photo Album.

Click the photo album link at the top of the screen. You will need to select the right place to upload you pic. Click upload and follow the simple instructions. After the pic is uploaded you need to go back to album and click on your thumbnail pic to open it.

When the full size pic is displayed, do the same as before where you right click and save the url link.

Go into the topic you want to show the pic, paste, highlight and click "Img"

that sounds far too easy . Whenever I try it always says''file size too large'' or ''image too large'' or whatever . I have managed it a couple of times using paintshop to reduce the size of things but the quality always looks poor in comparison to the other pics on the site.

Resize the picture so that it is no larger than 800x600 pixels. You should not have to reduce the quality at all as the file size limit is more than enough for a photo of that size.

em, my sig pic was less that 800x600, why was it removed

Wasn'nt me but I would say because no-one on this site has large sigs and it takes time to load up all the messages if it has to upload your sig as well.

Plus a signature is nothing to do with posting a picture. :roll:

right getting annoyed now resized the the photo 800 etc but still coming up with to big, even tried reducing it more and still no luck :wall:

When you go into the photobucket link for essexbikers.....the password is essexbikers.....look at the submenus or create a new menu to post your pictures into. Once they are loaded into photobucket then just cut and paste the link onto your thread and members can view your pics direct from photobucket and have a browse....any better??:grin2 :grin2

You can now use the Gallery link above to add photos to your own personal album. The files can then be linked to your posts.
