Hi all I've just replaced my headlight bulb with a ultra white Xenon the type with the Blue tint on the bulb supposed to give a more natural light effect. I took it out for a very short run last night, 10 - 20 mins as I was cleaning the front down from fly's I noticed the Headlight was rather Hot does anybody else have this issue. Should I change back to the standard Bulb?

It should be fine, as long as you dont run the bike with the lights on too long at idle, the cooling effect of air passing over the light normally tends to keep things in order :)

The early Aprilia RS125 used to have a headlight that would get that hot it would melt the plastic lense :)

But you should be fine :)

i put those in my 636...and they seem to be fine! did they make it much brighter for you? they made a hella diffrence to mine!

i put some really deep blue ones in my srad, i nicked em from my bro's car i found they turned everything a light shade of blue!! white lines roadsigns, was a strange feeling adjusting to em..... i also found the light was brighter & went further but was not as good a quality of light!
