The tyres are on the way out on my tzr, making these cold mornings a little more exciting than necessary. Anyone got any favourites, suggestions, or recommendations for taming the teezer in the wet?

:D Yeah, its an old one, '89, little back tyre and a drum brake! It gets really skittish going over white lines as well, but Spider, I guess you're right - it's going to keep me sharp 'til summer comes!

i always am right lol! or is that are right! lol but yeah keep persisting and ull get used to it! also helps ya for when your braking hevily! on the back brake and the back end slides out u would hav elearnt to counter steer it! and save ys skin! all cause of a dodgy back tyre i hope that all makes sense!

Closer inspection revealed that the previous owner had put a tubeless tyre on the back that was a little too large for the wheels - I'm sure this was contributing to the strange, "front going one way, back going another" feeling that going over white lines would induce.

Now got Pirellis front and back and it feels so much more willing! Willing enough to try chasing an R6 through the countryside yesterday, where we picked up a hole in the exhaust.

So if anyone has an exhaust for a TZR hanging about, please let me know....

I bet you were right on the R6's tail!

Well at least your bike is feeling better now it has new tyres. Good luck with the exhaust.

Pm Spider for the exhaust. I was down there Friday and tripped over at least 6 tzr pipes!

Oh yeah... note the use of the word trying! I was (which was probably how I got the hole - just blew through the rust in the ten year old downpipe). He wasn't!

Thanks for the tip Biker Dude
